If you've ever had to replace a headlight (probably got one used), it's likely you've found out there are two versions of of them, maybe even at the point of wrapping up the job and installing the grille only to discover you can't even mount the dang thing.

91-94 headlights have a single mount hole while 95-97 have that same mount, plus a second one closer to the center of the vehicle. These are what the early and late grilles attach to on the sides (2 of the 5 attachment screws that hold the grille on and in place). If you have a TOYOTA grille, you can use either headlight (with some intelligent trimming), if you have a sombrero or Circle L grille, you cannot use an early headlight. At least not until now!

These even works for LX450 glass too, so if you have good LX glass but can only find a 91-94 back piece (the actual lights part) you can adapt with one of these.
